The Ears May Travel IV.

Join me for a round in Aulus-les-Bains in the French Pyrenees.

It is a new morning. Time for a walk in the mountain village Aulus-les-Bains. It is the last village in France before the Spanish border. Red deer is calling in the surrounding mountains in September. It is mating season. The village lies silently – almost. Enjoy the little tour de village!

You will hear a spoken-word introduction, discover the little alleys, put your ear to the walls of the houses and listen to signs of life in the form of music, voices, chapel bells, running water... There also is an old underground tunnel system that invites to play with reverberation, a meadow with sheep, and the river passing and leaving to the distance.
